Islamic Relief contracted Optimum Analysis to conduct a rapid market assessment to assess the current labor market conditions in Erbil governorate in order to provide Islamic Relief with recommendations for its current and future livelihood projects. A total of 50 Market Opportunity Surveys (28 men and 22 women) and 154 Youth Skill Surveys (83 women and 71 men) were conducted. Additionally, Optimum Analysis conducted 12 key informant interviews with stakeholders and four focus group discussions with community members. The data was used to inform livelihood programming for Islamic Relief.
